For this University City roofing project, Solomon Contracting completed a full roof replacement to provide the homeowner with long-lasting protection and improved curb appeal. Our team began by removing the existing layer of shingle roofing and inspecting the roof structure beneath. We then replaced the wood decking where needed to ensure a solid foundation for the new roofing system.

To enhance weather resistance, we installed a modified asphalt ice and water shield underlayment, creating an additional layer of protection against moisture infiltration and harsh weather conditions. Once the roof was properly prepared, we installed new 30-year (limited lifetime) fiberglass asphalt architectural shingles, providing durability, energy efficiency, and an attractive finished appearance.
